Discovered this site was active last night. PRO96COM is detecting it as phase 2 though no phase 2 activity has been noted so far.

I was unaware that tower 555 was "Weld S.W. Simulcast". I was under the assumption this was a single tower and not part of a simulcast system.

Currently, RadioReference has it simply labeled as Fort Lupton.

It's been a 2 site simulcast configuration for awhile now. One tower is at the Southwest substation in Del Camino/Firestone the other at the Fort Lupton substation.

This replaced the single site that was on the old broadcast tower East of Dacono.

Fort Lupton had poor coverage issues with the single site after the split from DTRS.

There was a minor discussion when it first started at http://forums.radioreference.com/co...07113-frcc-tri-town-now-2-site-simulcast.html. It ultimately didn't really change much of anything. Everything pretty much remained the same except for the modulation type and some coverage pattern changes.

I personally have it labelled as "Tri-Area Simulcast" since that is what the Fort Lupton site was known as.
