Freeware for HP?

I am investigating if a freeware software, such as FreeScan, exists for the HomePatrol-1. I have the Butel software which is excellent. But I am curious if anyone has developed something like CHIRP for HTs to compete with that software.

Just the free Sentinel software that comes with the scanner (which includes the entire Radio Reference database downloads for free). Check here for the latest version (2.03.02) :
