Freq.?

Below is a number of tower frequencies, that worked for listening to the Person County P25 system on VIPER:

1. 853.5875
2. 852.9125
3. 853.8750
4. 852.4125

The problem is, these freqs., which are good. Are not on the same tower. I can't find where they are located. I poured through the VIPER frequency list for all the counties, that border Person County. If anyone knows, RSVP TIA

The 4 you posted are all on the same site. What was suggesting that they were not?

I kept looking on VIPER, and just didn't see them all together. Even thinking they were on separate towers.

Easiest thing to do, is when on the systems page, use the search feature in your browser, and search for the freqs one at a time. It will show you which site(s) contain the freqs. On some large systems, freqs may be present on different sites that are not in range of each other.

Person/Roxboro has 2 towers currently, 1 is at transmitter site in Roxboro and another is at Hyco Lake northwest of town. Check VIPER listing and locate which shows all the frequencies in use and site numbers for the towers

To be fair to the OP: the Camden VIPER tower DOES have "overflow" radio traffic from Person County as I monitor that site 8-9 hours a day on my HP-2 and see Person Co TGs pop up on it regularly.
