Hi. I moved from PA to VA and my scanner needs reprogrammed.

I would like to know frequencies for Northern Virginia, Loudoun County, Leesburg...police, fire, EMS, school, etc...anything interesting, LOL.

Thanks.

thanks.....

Why is my scanner not scanning? It will only change channels manually even after I push the scan button. I don't have the manual....I forget if there is a trick to start the scanning. Anyone know?

Since this has nothing to do with software and since the location specific portion was addressed already, moved to the Uniden forum.

bump bump..
<sigh> As if my earlier post didn't bump it to the top.

I looked for my manual and it is still packed in some unpacked box from the move. So the only thing I can say is check to see that you don't have the slots locked out. Obviously it will not scan a L/O channel. Also make sure and review each of the programmed channels to make sure they are valid. The way mine is set up I cannot easily look at the back, but isn't there a "reset" on the rear, that & reprogramming may be your next step. There is no secret to getting it to scan, other than having valid frequencies in at least two of the 16 slots.
