Hi,

Was wondering if anybody had finally set their finger on DC Sheriff Dispatch, Car-Car and Tac. I remember a month or two ago there were about 3 frequencies wandering around this site for each, and I have 4 dispatch possibles in my own database, none of which I've heard. (and yes, I've searched thoroughly). Thanks on that.

Now:
Unident fire freq 154.310. Can't really remember where I heard it, but it was fire stuff and I couldn't find it on the site. Info?

453.800 reported as F3/F4 DC Fire Command. However, I've never heard it before, and picked it up loud and CLEAR right in the City of Poughkeepsie. Is it just 3/4, or is there some other agency using that freq?

Wanted to confirm 155.205 is a HEAR frequency- I heard ambulance talk on there, but I only saw that identification on one source, so I thought I'd see if anybody can affirm it.

453.050 listed F5/F6 DC Fireground, but in Town of Northeast towards Sharon, was hearing what appeared to be a Conn/Mass bus service. Not sure if anybody else has picked that one out, but thought I'd ask.

155.310 is Westchester County? Just surprised that I'd be hearing it in Dutchess, and with fire-type talk on it.

453.425 is shown on-site as SUNY Stony Brook security. However, I sincerely doubt that atmospheric conditions were so beautiful that I was picking it up loud and clear in the City of Poughkeepsie. I looked around, didn't find anything else- any insight?

Thanks, I appreciate it and apologize if I skipped over an answer in my searching.

Where are you looking? I'm surprised you could miss, for example, finding out that 453.425 is the Thruway Authority, which is listed all over the place.

453.800 is definitely Dutchess Fire Command. If you look at the fireground plans for Dutchess, you will see that different repeaters are used in different areas. Fireground 5/6 is not used in the northeast portion of the county, 13/14 is. 11/12 is used for Pawling/Dover. 7/8 is used from Clove Mountain, and 9/10 is off Hosner Mountain. In addition there are loads of department frequencies.
DCSO is still using 155.37 to communicate with NYSP. I heard them Thursday as they were responding to a 911 job in Millerton. 156.135 is the Sheriff frequency, output PL 156.7. I can't confirm the TAC or car frequencies as of late.

It is definitely DC911 Fire Command 3/4. No other agency in the Poughkeepsie area is using it that I am aware of. Dutchess 911 uses PL 114.8.

It is not used as HEAR in Dutchess County. It is used in Putnam using PL 162.2 and it is also used in Columbia County as Greenport Rescue Squad Dispatch using DPL 026

Dutchess 911 uses 453.0500 PL 114.8 as Fireground 5/6. The repeater is located on Illinois Mtn in Highland (Ulster Co). Each fireground repeater (F/G 5, 7, 9, 11, 11A, 13) is located on a different tower throughout the county and depending on where the incident is located the appropriate F/G is assigned. It is entirely possible that in the northeast part of the county you are hearing another user on 453.0500.

453.425 is shown on-site as SUNY Stony Brook security. However, I sincerely doubt that atmospheric conditions were so beautiful that I was picking it up loud and clear in the City of Poughkeepsie. I looked around, didn't find anything else- any insight?

This is definitely the NYS Thruway Authority. They have tower sites along I-87 and I-84.

Hope this helps,

Dutchess County 911 is on 155.415R DCS 654. It is now simulcasted over all towers at the same time. Dutchess County 911 Back-up is on 151.205R DCS 632. They transmit off the nearest tower. It has also been used recently as an interop frequency.

Dutchess County Sheriff uses 156.135R PL 156.7. They come off 5 towers depending on the area (Illinois, Clove, Dover, Milan and Silver). Each is identified by a different DTMF tone at the end. Clove is used most of the time and you'll hear a "beep" at the end. A "baap" is Dover. Illinois has no DTMF at the end. The units also uses Fleetsync identifiers (Kenwood radios).

Sheriff's Car-Car is 154.710 PL 94.8. Dispatch can also come off the individual towers simplex.
Sheriff's Tac is 159.210 PL 94.8.

Unident fire freq 154.310. Can't really remember where I heard it, but it was fire stuff and I couldn't find it on the site. Info?

I have a note that Ulster Hose may have a repeater on this frequency if you can keep an eye on that one.

I think all you're other questions were answered.

I didn't notice this one before.. 154.3100 (PL 107.2) is Berkshire Couty (MA) Fire Dispatch this may be what you were hearing especially if you are in the northeast part of Dutchess.

Hope this helps,

At times they come bombing in in the western part of Dutchess and eastern Ulster Counties.
