    We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

    If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I noticed that the Norfolk Airport Police are no longer dispatching on 453.35 MHz. Does anyone know their new frequency or if they went trunking?

I did an FCC license search and found some new 800 MHz (conventional) frequencies assigned to the Norfolk Airport Authority:

809.0625 MO

809.0625 FX1

809.3375 MO

809.3375 FX1

854.0625 FB2 (monitored and confirmed fire department using this one)

854.0625 MO

854.3375 FB2 (monitored and confirmed as police dispatch)

uh i put the new frequencies in and have not heard nothing! every single frequencies that somebody posted in forums i put them in, and that was friday havent heard nothing, just wondering
