frequency help!¡!!

Hello all im new to using scanners and i have a pro163
And having trouble getting good frequencies for chrsapake va
If anyone has or knows of a good place to get freqs for the ems
And police

Welcome cowboy to RR!

First, have you checked the freqs and talk groups for the Chesapeake trunked system here in the database? The listing here is accurate. Chesapeake Trunking System, Chesapeake, Virginia - Scanner Frequencies

Also, custom tables are required to receive the system correctly. You can also find freqs, talk groups and the tables on my site (link in my sig below)

Second, you'll see that while that you can receive the FD, EMS and city services fine, you will not be able to receive the PD and SD because P25 digital modulation is used, which your Pro-163 is incapable of receiving.

thank you and i will try that. I did try the freq list for chesapeake but it only gave 3 freqs and i didnt get anywhere .
