So In my home town there is a frequency still in use by the hospital here, the frequency is 452.2125 and it's for the security and belongs to university medical center lubbock. I wanted to know if the license is expired how can you find the new updated license? I have looked on the fcc website by the way and no luck.. any help would be appreciated.

This license expired a year ago.
I looked up the FRN and there are no applications in the past 2 years. There is probably no new license unless it is under a different licensee name or FRN and a different frequency. There are no current licenses for 452.2125 in Lubbock County.
thats strange that there is no license for that frequency, yet its still being used by the hospital.. is that common for business to still use frequencies that are no longer licensed??

Likely the person who would have got the renewal reminder retired, died, quit, got fired, or abducted by aliens and the license never git renewed, and who ever is there now isnt smart enough to check on things like that.

It is common for them to keep using a frequency after it expires. Here we had a user get a license, after a year it expired, was never renewed but they still use it daily....

Sometimes licenses don't get renewed due to ignorance or incompetence. I don't know how common it is but I have seen it before with businesses and even state or local governments.

Very common, I get calls all the time from agencies," hey can you check our license".....and I wind up getting to get them a new license.
