I have approx 50' of FS11-50 Heliax coaxial cable, pretty heavy stuff. Is it better to use this than RG8-m low loss for base scanner antenna installation? I aready have some of it also and my run will be about 75' max.
Can the two be spliced together, heavy on outside mast then other RG8 the in house for more flexability?
