• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

Freescan: fssetup-218-b6.zip.zip Error Message

Windows 10:

"fssetup-218-b6.zip is unsafe to download and was blocked by SmartScreen Filter"

I figured out how to disable SmartScreen and then got a couple of messages about malware being removed: a Trojan.

This is a message on the Sixspot download site:

"If you get a virus warning, I don't know whats up, but there ain't no dang virus in this file. I scanned
it with Avast and it is clean. However Microsoft Security Essentials loses its #$%^ when it sees the file.
Probably just a false alarm though!! YOLO."

Anyone else getting the SmartScreen error message or virus protection seeing malware?
