• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

LCSO SWAT at Couny RD 38E and Taft Hill last night also.
I posted no details originally in order to follow the requested procedure for this forum regarding protection of persons involved in the operation.

The following is now revealed on 9 news:

Two people were arrested early Wednesday morning as part of an 11 month investigation into an illegal drug operation.

The Fort Collins Police SWAT team searched four different homes. When they searched 1586 Meadow Mountain Drive in Livermore they found an active methamphetamine lab with a 3-year-old girl inside.

Police arrested 28-year-old Jimmy Martinez and 22-year-old Brittanie Hutcheson on charges of possession with intent to distribute meth, manufacturing meth and child abuse.

Martinez also faces charges of possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

Police have already charged seven other people in connection with the drug operation.

During the investigation, police seized about one-and-a-quarter pounds of meth with a street value of $15,000, four guns and $8,300 in cash.

The 3-year-old was transported to Poudre Valley Hospital where she was decontaminated for exposure to the meth lab before she was released to a family member by the Department of Human Services.
