• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

During a slow period, I ran "Stalker/Close Call" mode for a few hours and heard what I believe is Ft.Dix Fire simulcast on 141.200/103.5 with the McGuire/Ft.Dix TRS. I couldn't find this anywhere in the DB.

Also heard multiple Helos on 157.175 "Sector 83" and USCG training ops.

151.520R- encryption

153.515/151.4- Upper Freehold Twp school buses.

The 141.2 was Ft Dix's original fire channel before switching to the TRS. It is currently a simulcast of their TG.

141.200 simulcasts the Ft Dix Fire primary TG from the Burlington County system and the McGuire AFB Fire primary TG from the MAFB/Dix trunking system.
