Yaesu: FT1XD FIRM ERROR.

I just got an FT-1XD



my firmware was 1.05 i think and i found newer one to upgrade at USA web page.

I tried both versions, USA and EXP, of course first i tried EXP.

I followed instructions but at the end, my radio displayed "FIRM ERROR"

Is there any simple way to fix that issue?

There are two versions of the firmware updates on the Yaesu USA FT1D page. One is for the FT1DR/DE and the other is for the FT1XDR/XDE. Did you perhaps get the wrong one by mistake?
