Hi all,
Am getting an issue with my FT897D. I have replaced the Q1007 FET transistor ( it was burnt). Am getting output power on the VHF/UHF band but when am putting the lid cover ( with no screws). No output power is there and when I take it back it works fine again. Anyone got this issue..

sounds like something shorting somewhere

Make sure that someone hasn't replaced the cover screws with longer ones that might be contacting components on the circuit boards.
