• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

I attempted to program a Bearcat BCD396XT for a buddy of mine. I tried the tones found on another New York based website but he said those only work for annoucements. Does anybody have the correct A/B tones used to dispatch Mohegan FD for jobs on 46.260?

I'm unsure what county Mohegan is in, however I created a special index in our wiki to easily locate FTO data by county - just click on the blue link, then select the county name - if we have it from the NF2G migration, that's where you'll find it. If it's not there, when you do find it, please consider recording it...

The 312.6 / 346.7 is already in the scanner and works well for announcements and other non-emergency traffic. I was wondering is anyone has the A/B combo for actual calls.
