I've now accumulated 120 active civil aircraft frequencies. Each memory Group on the R8600 is 100. 'Group 0' is now full and so the remaining frequencies are now in 'Group 1'. Is there a way to link the Groups during a Memory Scan -- so that all frequencies in 'Group 0' are scanned and then the R8600 moves to the next Group (Group 1). Currently I can only perform a Memory Scan on a single Group i.e. Group 0 or Group 3 or 6 etc. I know there is an option to Scan ALL Groups but I don't want to do that.
For users or people familiar with the AOR 8600 Mk2, you'll know what I want to do IS possible. AOR call it Bank Linking. Whereby Bank 'A' can be linked to Bank 'a' or Bank 'B' or Bank 'C' and be linked to Bank 'F' etc. and only those Banks marked as Bank Link Banks are scanned.
