GREELEY, Colo. -- Greeley police say a recent spike in gang-related violence doesn't indicate more shootings, but rather that the shooters have been hitting their targets more often.
Police Chief Jerry Garner spoke Monday after two people were wounded in separate weekend shootings and two others were killed earlier this month on Nov. 8 and 9. Investigators have said they believe the shootings were gang-related.
"In the past few years, we've always had gangsters shooting at each other," Garner told the Greeley Tribune. "But they've been missing each other. In the most recent cases, they connected."
One of the weekend shootings occurred at a house party, where a man was wounded in the shoulder after an argument, Police Sgt. Joe Tymkowych said.

Now doesn't everyone feel much better that our local gangs are working on their aim, no more spraying and praying
