Gatlinburg PD switched over to NXDN---Is there anyway to listen to it??

Uuuuh No. It may be possible if you bought a Kenwood LMR radio, software, cables, etc. and programmed it yourself. Currently there are no scanners on the market that will demodulate the NXDN modulation.

If the agency is using 6.25 Conventional NXDN, you can also use the Icom IDAS radios. One thing to remember. Most agencies going with NXDN are turning on the encryption because that feature comes standard with these radios. I would hate to see you buy a radio only to find out you still cant listen.
