As of 0110 hours, Glendale PD is still on their own system, and ch's 1, 3, 4 and 6 are all still in the clear. We'll see what the next 23 hours brings.

I just threw these tig's into my 800 setup and proceeded to scan Glendale. The radio appears to be scanning as usual with the exception of "NO BIG T" showing. Hmnn, no control channel lock on?

I then went to my HP-1 (E) for analysis. For the first time ever, I see zero "signal," zero "quality", and zero "activity". I didn't know the airwaves could be that clean, lol.

That's because the old Glendale system has been merged with Simulcast G. You'll hear Glendale off of Simulcast G.

There was no merge at all. The old Glendale system was completely shut off. Simulcast G of the Phoenix RWC is what Glendale is now working off of.

4728 is A-13 and is used inside the Arena/Stadium. 4727 is A-14 and is used outside the Arena/Stadium. Both are clear voice. 4717 was radio techs testing radios the last I heard. Also clear voice.

4724 is an unidentified encrypted TG. Maybe it's B-1, if it continues to follow the format above? But I don't know. I programmed in every TG from 4740 through 4700 so as to catch any activity.

The assigned useage of each channel does not appear to have changed from the original set-up. A-1 South Dispatch, A-2 South Tac, A-3 Info, A-4 North Dispatch, A-5 North Tac, A-6 Car-to-Car, the rest are Tacs. The database info needs to be fixed.

I'm unable to do so with my 3G multi-media phone's limitations. Those with a real computer will have to do it.

A-10, TG 4731 is clear voice. I heard it earlier tonight. That can be added to A-1, A-4, A-13, and A-14 as clear voice channels.

If anyone is interested, A-14 is running a training scenario right now. I've heard these in the past. They do not constantly state that it is a training scenario. And Phoenix FD just kicked out their side on K-3 :) 4:48pm

Another training scenario on A-10 in the past hour. Their training facility is off 115th and Glendale Ave's, in that landfill area. You'll hear "pursuits" going around in circles there lol (1:05am)

I still haven't determined if A-11 or A-12 are clear or encrypted. I haven't heard any transmissions on either as of yet. A-1/4/10/13/14 are known clear. A-2/3/5/6/7/8/9/15/16 are known encrypted.

A-12, TG 4729 is *not* encrypted. It has been very active this Saturday evening, with officers at a concert somewhere in the city. I don't know if there was a special event at Westgate or not. GFD K-2, TG 1667 was also active for 1 transmission I caught.

Ch12 was utilized for the 'Ribfest/musical entertainment' on the 'great lawn' area west of the Cardinals stadium. We enjoyed Kenny Loggins Saturday night. Definitely worth the five dollars to get in. Food was great too. Ch12 also utilized on Friday and Sunday.
