Go transit on 796

Has anyone been able to get a 796 to track the new Ontario 9600 trunked system. The freq and such are in the database.

The 795 requires a base offset etc but I havent been able to figure them out. I expect that soon more of the busses and trains will switch over.

I think a 396 maybe able to get that.

yes the 396 does. I was hoping to be able to use a 796 rather than go out and buy a new scanner just for one system.

The 796 will, also. That's why it has '96' in it.

Some times it takes trial & error to figure that stuff out.

I have tried all the basics like base 406/12/566 but am getting nowhere. any advice would be apreciated. BTW the unit does decode the audio fine. its just getting the scanner to track the TG that im going crazy on

GO Transit on 796

The Pro-96 works with base 380.000, spacing 12.5, and offset 8192. Dave

the bc796 wont take a base freq below 406.000.
