Spectrum Manglement is no help - only showing licenses for ON and QC for Turris.

If I had a callsign for the BC site it might work. Frequency searches aren't.

God almighty, what a dumpster fire this new search function/results is.
If you'd care to cause harm to yourself by viewing the search, you can do callsign lookups at this link.

They're showing assigned to a numbered Canadian company, 9387358 Canada Inc. (as opposed to Turris which all the ON/QC freqs are registered under).

Frequencies are only stored in SMS out to 3 decimal places, with some of them rounded up and some not. For example, license CFG769 (which I could only find at the end of 16 pages of CFG7691-CFG7699 results before it - apparently the system is set to match "all results beginning with" instead of exact) contains:

451.087
451.363
451.663
451.962
452.413
452.837

Sumas/Taggart Peak (CHD662) has only one UHF frequency associated:

451.788

Hah - I tried to do a search on all licenses associated to 9387358 Canada Inc., and the site said 1293 results was 293 too many to show. I have to figure out a way to refine my search to get under 1000 results.

(Then again, copy-pasting results when they only show 10 to a page is bad enough with 100 results, maybe they're doing me a favor by stopping me from retrieving 1300)

Industry canada site

When I do a search for a single freq and I select land mobile the select Ontario and check off a few boxes freq comes up but the problem I am running into is it is grabbing all of Canada so example if I put in 151.070 it comes back in excess off 800 + please refine your search witch I did when I selected Ontario only so the new site is not working correctly as far as I can tell unless I am missing something here

So this still doesn't seem to be any better. Still doesn't matter what region I select under the single frequency search, I still get national results. And those results are piss poor at best.

I've taken to using a geographic search and using a vague lat/long and decent range for the area I want. Results with that tactic seem to be semi-decent.

Yeah, I've done that as well with some success. I guess I still just find the results I'm presented with really difficult for my mind to parse. I'm just used to the old system where the transmit and receive frequencies were on the same line, and not separate lines.

I have however been using this one quite a bit: TAFL Search with Google Maps Output - once you get your results plotted on the map, click tabular in the top-right to get something a little more familiar looking.

Oh, also un-check unique frequencies in results, otherwise it only plots the closest record to your location.

Do they still have the TAFL available to download in file format? I can't seem to find that anywhere.. unless it's hidden somewhere..

The latest version now only provides results based on the region selected, not the entire country.

This almost makes sense.

Yikes, SMS has a user interface now! I mean, it actually looks half-decent, and has indicators to tell you when it's working in the background (instead of you just sitting there wondering if it crashed). Still limited to an insanely low number of records though.
