Grafton MARCS Performance

Has anyone else noticed the performance / range of the Grafton MARCS tower does not seem to live up to the surrounding sites?

The range of Elyria and Strongsville are far better than that of Grafton. They also seem to have better audio.

I certainly have not done a scientific study, Grafton just doesn't feel the same as the others.

I get both Elyria & Grafton using the Sweeper on the 600, Grafton to me seems to carry more traffic then Elyria but I've never done a side by side. I will try and run Uni-trunker on both for a set time and see what shows up.

Running the sites side by side Elyria has more traffic.

What I found odd yesterday sitting at the tracks north of the prison complex, within eye site of the tower and prison, Elyria sounded better and was handling more prison traffic than Grafton.

I also noticed in Lodi that the Elyria CC was solid while Grafton was in and out. This is also the result if you drive E, W or N of that site. N & W would be expected. But not south in Lodi.

Is Grafton tuned more for interior prison ops, where Elyria is tuned more for traditional tower traffic?

I was kinda wondering the same thing.

I wonder what the footprint of towers looks like compared to correction facilities state wide?
