I read some where that the mobile mounting bracket was better built and does not slide around like my Pro-197 does, apparrently there is 4 rubber feet versus the 197 3 round mounts, any truth to the matter?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8530/5.0.0.973 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

That would be the PSR-600, not the 500. The 500 is the handheld model. :)

Why not just put rubber feet at each corner? I used the larger square rubber feet from Radio Shack, and it worked fine. You can probably get them at a craft shop or hardware store as well.

maybe you read it from here...

I posted last week about the GRE bracket for the PSR-410 in this post and Chauffeur6 nicely followed up with comparison pics in his next post - have a look.

But yeah, if you have a PSR-600 or PRO-197, just add some rubber feet and you're set. Cost me a dollar something at Target.

So the pic of the good bracket is off a Pro-160,that is the one my buddy is using on his PSR-600,and yes it will not slide around, and it fits perfectly
