I read some where that the mobile mounting bracket was better built and does not slide around like my Pro-197 does,apparrently there is 4 rubber feet versus the 197 3 round mounts,any truth to the matter?

Ok thanks,my buddy must have a different bracket from another radio that fits perfect.
Why not just put rubber feet at each corner? I used the larger square rubber feet from Radio Shack, and it worked fine. You can probably get them at a craft shop or hardware store as well.

But yeah, if you have a PSR-600 or PRO-197, just add some rubber feet and you're set. Cost me a dollar something at Target.

So the pic of the good bracket is off a Pro-160,that is the one my buddy is using on his PSR-600,and yes it will not slide around,and it fits perfectly
My 197 came with no rubber pads on it. Just a bare bracket.

I found mine in a bag in one of the corrugated pieces for one and the other was in the bag under the mounting bracket. They do put them in some strange places.
