Gre Psr-275 **help**

I have recently been given a GRE PSR-275 Handheld scanner, i have downloaded the instruction manual but am struggling to find the frequencies i am after, i have tried google searching but as i am new to this i have no idea what most of it means.

I am wanting to listen to my local ambulance and/or fire services, i live in Manchester, UK, if anyone has any ideas how i can get hold of these frequencies i would appreciate it!!

just had a look, thanks!! ambulance wise i can only find frequencies for cheshire, but living close to wythenshawe hospital, id like codes for nearer to there, google has some but i think they inactive now.....
