Gre PSR-600 Question

I'm a Blind Person and I bought a PSR-600 back in 2007. I have noticed lately that the radio tends to miss the first word or 2 before it locks on to a transmission. I have win500 as the software and I was wondering if someone can advise how to make the radio more sensitive or is there a speed function on the radio? Perhaps it's just scanning slow. I live in Sacramento, ca and we are MotII here. If I can make adjustments with Win500 Please tell me what settings I need to adjust and how to adjust the numbers. Thanks.

In Win500 Extended Settings tab, second grouping under Motorola Trunking. Find a setting for Subaudible start delay box. 150 is default but can be changed to 0 through 65535 x1 ms. Try lowering to 100.

50 works for me. Also, "digital detect timeout" has to be changed for me and I set it to 10.
