Hi All,

I am in Greeley and travel a lot to eastern Colorado and am looking for up to date freq's for the following cities:
Greeley/Evans
Ft. Morgan
Brush
Sterling
Yuma
Wray
Stratton
Burlington
Akron/Otis

I am looking for Police, CSP, Fire, EMS, Ambulance, Etc. and I do have the Radio Shack PRO-96 Digital Trunking scanner so I am interested in Digital and Analog Freq's. I have a substancial list backed up with Win96 that I would be happy to share that also covers Denver and almost all of the front range. I am somewhat of a rookie here so any additional info on the freq's as far as Mot, EDAC, etc would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!!!!

John

All agencies you list except for Weld County which is on DTRS are still on VHF, except for CSP is those areas is DTRS.

You can find id's for those agencies in the database and VHF frequencies are very easy to find because there are normally only one or two active public safety freqs for the entire county.

greeley/evans frequencies

Hi there, I also live in greeley but I don't have the pro96 so I just know the analog frequencies.

Greeley fire pages and some opps on 453.15
airlife pages on 155.4
airlife reports in on 463.05 (med 3)
weld county fire 'A' (south part of county) 153.785
weld county fire 'B' (north part of county) 154.145
CLEER (colorado law enforcement emeregncy radio) 460.425
I-TAC3 867.5125 (used by greeley and weld county when the digital system goes down) also might want to monitor the other I-TAC channels
forest service 169.175 (use no PL as it is the output of several repeaters on difforent PLs)
UNC parking 453.2
NCMC security (local hospital) 462.05
greeley public works 453.875 (old greeley channel 4)
Weld S.O. 1 460.4
Weld S.O. 2 460.2
Weld S.O. 3 460.25
Weld S.O. 4 460.025
(in the greeley area S.O. now operates on the statewide digital system, I don't know about other areas in the county)
(on Weld S.O. radios channel 5 is CLEER)
Weld S.O. 6 453.65 (jail)
Weld S.O. 7 453.95 (county road and bridge)

and thats about it for public safety monitoring these days

John / Welcome to the website! Jim & nyghthawk gave you some good info. If you discover any frequencies/talkgroups, not listed in the database, please post them. I hope to hit the Southwestern area in a couple of weeks, and fill in some county info from there.

I live in Sterling and will try to get you the frequency's off the scanner. There seems to be about 18-20 active channels, Lp, EMS, Fire and SO. They are the same ones as always. I'm using a BCT8 and don't have digital either. However, I'm still picking up the CSP, not sure what I'm missing. Only had the scanner a year and never get to play with it. I'm new here and still really new to scanning.
I also need some help locating a patch cord from the putter to my scanner. And after reading the book, may need some additional help. lol I know i'm missing alot.

Uh welcome to June 2005.

You are responding to a post that's almost 2 years old.

Phil.
