Greeley Independence Stampede monitoring

Does anyone know frequencies for the Greeley Independence Stampede?

I know PD and SO will both probibly be on digital (which I have no equpiment to monitor), and I know FD pages off 453.15 still. I don't know if there is anything analog to moniter.

If you know the location name /owner and or who is running it look on city freqs

You are correct on the old Weld county S.O. freqs, (460.4, 460.2, 460.25, 460.025) however, the S.O. seems to have gone to the statewide digital system, I dought they will be using their old freqs (but who knows).

for further info, the stampede is held in Greeley at Isloand grove regional park from june 24 - july 4

My bet is you probably wont hear anything on those UHF freqs.

You are correct again, I'm pretty sure I won't hear anything on the old Weld S.O. UHF frequencies. (but I'll monitor them anyway just in case) I do know that the stampede uses a large number of part time staff for various roles and postings. Most of these personnel are drawn from the ranks of the Sheriff explorers and the Sheriffs possie. I dought weld county has enough APCO25 capable radios to issue too all these part time users. From this and the fact that in previous years I have observed UHF SP50s and small kenwoods in use I'm guessing they will be opperating on a UHF frequency.

I think they might have enough..I've already heard Posse and Reserves doing stuff at Island Grove on Law 3 while i've been at work..but who knows

thanks troop, unfortunately not what I wanted to hear but thanks anyway.

so far I have 453.15 which is greeley fire paging, and 453.875 which is greeley public works (who manages Island Grove Park)

also just an F.Y.I. for anybody frequency searching on analog UHF there are several frequencies used by a large slaughterhouse 2 blocks away from Islang Grove Park so if you hear lots of hollered spanash/english with heavy background noise thats what it is.

tentative frequencies

did some searching last night and this morning.

maintence seems to be operating on 453.3625
security seems to be operating on 451.8
there's also 469.55, not sure what it is possibly show production
anybody have any others?


i'm currently counting PLs, what is this boards policy on posting PLs?

p.s. i've lived here long enough that I don't notice the monfort smell even though i'm down wind.
