Just an update as to what I've done.

What I'm trying to achieve is listening to the Greenville Co. Sheriff's Office and
the Greenville City PD. only (as you know). I've done the following:

In Bank 0 channel 1-4 I programmed in the conventional 460MHz frequencies, (Sheriff's Office) set mode to CT, set CT tone to 127.3.

In Bank 0 channel 5-6 I programmed in (City PD) 859.9625 and 859.2625 in MOT mode.

Then I pressed FUNC 5 on 859.9625 to close that group.

Now I pressed scan and am hearing the Sheriff's Office and the City Police. (I've yet to verify 100% that I'm not hearing other agencies from the 800. area as well, though.)

Anyway, following those steps, would I be set for just hearing the GCSO and GPD only? No other agencies?

I also followed your instructions and entered the four 5 digit codes for the GPD.

I think everything is working as it should.

If you have a serial port on your computer, I have an extra cable I can let you borrow to try out the free trial of win96. I think after you play with it enough, you'll end up buying win96 and a cable :lol: It's really an easier way of programming a scanner, especially one as complex as yours.
