They use the Palmetto 800 system which is a P25 Phase II system.

Actually it's a phase one system. Anything from a old RS Pro 106 or 668 will work for Greenville County. From Cross Anchor, I would recommend a decent Yagi pointed that way.

It's listed as a Phase 2 system but it looks like most users are using Phase 1.

No phase 2 in use, and don't see it anytime soon. They just added the city's of Mauldin and Simpsonville to the phase 1 system in the last month.

Palm800 will be switching to phase 2 in the near future. I do not know off hand what the deadline date is but wanna say its similar to NC's VIPER 2025 transition.
