Hey all- It's been a long time since I've been gone but I'm back and still in the big, bustling town of Nunn, Colorado! The scanner's been off for as long as I've been so it's time to find my old software and update some frequencies.
Hope everyone had a safe day in this snow/slush.

Which scanner do you have Jenny?

That area of Weld County is on the states DTRS system and your local control channels have recently re banded.

Scanner-

I'm running the BearCat246T and am definately finding that there's not as much traffic on these old frequencies. ;-)

Regrettably the 246T will only work on analog trunked systems not digital ones like Weld and now Larimer Counties.

But some Weld and Larimer County feeds are available at www.scancolorado.com

Jim,
Can you recommend a similiar scanner to my 246t that is digital-I do really like the Unidens.

Uniden 396 or 996T then.

Jen, FYI - the Uniden 396 is a hand held unit like the 246. The 996 is a mobile unit intended for vehicles but can be used with a 12 volt power source just about anywhere and has more bells and whistles such as GPS.
