So I made a quick drive down to FL and back this weekend, passing through the 100ish miles of Georgia on I-95.
I traditionally have not spent much time in GA and I know little about GSP's operations other than that they are on VHF P25 and encrypted on trunked systems when available. I understand that they are encrypted on the SEGARRN regional system around Savannah.
I heard them exactly 1 time going south (on VHF GSP Rincon) in Savannah, and not at all coming back north. I expected to not hear anything around Savannah, but I figured I would have coming back north today especially with the big Verizon outage affecting most of the state. Is it really that dead for them?
