I can say that in this situation, they can mess with Mother Nature all they want. Having seen the huge costs of hail on crops and houses, Hail Stop [or whatever you want to call it] is well worth messing with. It is a lot easier to put up with more rain, than baseball sized hail. Since they have restarted the "Hail Stop" program in Central Alberta, I don't think I have seen hail larger than pea size. May knock leaves off trees, but doesn't punch holes in shingles, windows, dent cars, etc.. Another frequency I see listed for Weather Modification in Alberta is 407.25. Have not heard anything on this frequency in the past 2 years.
