haliburton monitoring

hello all;

i'm wondering if anyone on here does any fire monitoring in or around haliburton county, specifically the southwest part.

i've heard dysart et all paged on 154.310 - by the Lindsay CACC. It's the same freq minden hills township (which is actually closer to my location) is supposed to be paged on, but I've never heard them.

I'm assuming the system up there is simplex, hence no ops - however paging should still be heard. On the southeast side, the newer highlands east repeater booms for that townships fd.

154.755 is also listed in the database, but I've never been able to pull in anything other than cross-border, despite my proximity in the kawartha lakes.

perhaps there is someone in the bracebridge area that could shed light?

Hi ES,

I'm in Bracebridge, I haven't been able to pick up anything over there. I can contact the Algonguin Highlands Chief to see what he knows about frequencies for the area. I'll get back to you.
