I have a decoder for MDC 1200. I am looking for the alerts for the F medics only they have one separate.

I get codes like E1FF. This does not work in the Motorola radio it’s only a 3 digit number it allows

Any ideas

Or maybe anyone have a list for the medic talk group

Thanks

I’m a bit confused. You’re decoding MDC ID’s displayed as “E1FF”? That would mean you are displaying/decoding those ID’s in hexidecimal format, which most if not all Motorola radios are capable of doing.

I think the OP is confused, not you @Ant9270!

As stated, MDC is a four-character ID in HEX format (including leading zeroes where appropriate). E1FF is absolutely a valid MDC ID, so wherever you're seeing a 3 digit number, you're not looking in the right place. What model radio are you dealing with?

XPR 7550E. I put it in group call it only takes 3 digit numbers in group call where would the E1FF go to activate the radio alert for this group

I just went to CONTACTS> MDC>CALL 1 and was able to enter E1FF as the “Call ID (HEX)” without issue. Are you viewing your CPS in expert mode? I was able to write the radio without issue.

By “no alerts” do you mean that the ID is not displaying/decoding on your screen?
