I have programmed my BC370CRS to warn me of any impending bad weather which possibly could come tonight. I have programmed several same frequencies in the radio, and when I turn the radio of I see my local frequency displayed. Will this warn me of Tornado warnings only or any T'storm watch that might be advised for my area. I thought I had this solved, but when they did the monthly test the radio remained silent. I think I have followed the manual, anyone else have any experience with this? Also, Is it possible for it to warn as it is serving as a scanning radio? Thanks!!

if you didnt receive the test tone, then it appears to me that you only have wx freq. programmed.i could be wrong, although im not famalier with your specific model.i own a pro 538,it came factory programed to receive the weather alerts.it displays L1 L2 L3 depending on the specific warning.and it was prog to rec all,not only my local area, and since its a mobile,I decided to leave it that way.Check to see if your radio is able to receive S.A.M.E alerts.that is the specific alert system im talking about.there is sooooooo much knowledge here at RR.I am sure someone can help you a lil more than me.I just wanted to try....thanks and good luck

Thanks, and I should mention that after the test tone failed I fooled around with it some more, and thats when the local frequency appeared. But, I would like to know going in if I have done this correctly or not, and If I'm thinking it will do what I think it will do. Thanks again.
