I made the mistake of simply forgetting to renew my license back in July of 2024. I just recently realized it expired, but since I am still within the 2 Year grace period I attempted to renew it last week. I had no issue logging in with my FRN and password, but cannot get past the point to where it says (work on this license). There is no link there. I think I made the mistake of trying to update my home address first, before trying to renew since I keep getting an error message saying you cannot update information before renewing during the grace period.
Now my license does say "active" again, but also says "Pending applications". I cannot get to the point to actually pay the fee to renew my license. It seems to be stuck in pending limbo. I emailed the FCC tech support last week, and no reply. Just not sure what to do now. Will the "pending application" just drop off, if no payment is received and would the system allow me to try and renew again? If so, I will attempt to renew without updating my address first. Like I said, I think thats what caused it to get stuck on renewal because I tried to change my address first before attempting to renew.
