Where did they go? Haven't heard any activity on 156.21 in several days.
It appears as if they have switched their operations to the DPW freq and changed the PL to 118.8:
151.1150 118.8 PL 156.0450 input. Not clear if DPW will share this with their old PL. I haven't heard DPW this week.
Looks like they are making this their TAC channel. The county is supposed to take over dispatching Haz on the old 156.2100 in October.

I also notice inversion scrambling being used occasionally.

I weep for them once the transfer over. They're the last holdout. I still want my local dispatch and Kingston Central back. We were much better off. They better get used to switching to Zone E or going to that DPW channel & dispatching themselves if the past is any indications. KPD never had issues with their channel but once the County took over nothing but issues with it crashing and other issues that cause problems. Am I opposed to 911? No. Am I opposed to this 911 center? 100,000% yes.

It appears as if Hazleton DPW is using the Old PD freq 156.210 with a 203.5 PL. Still do not know what will happen when County takes over. Also heard Hazleton State Police setting up communications capability with HPD on 151.1150

$$$$$$?

Sounds like some radio vendor is making money---radio freq/pl switchover--unnecessary in my opinion ;-)

Even if Haz PD had DPW in their radios still must mean money changing hands Ie; Reprogram radios to change the PL for DPW and PD

Figures they'd stay with the 151.115 after the switch. Wouldn't make much sense to switch to it for a few weeks then switch right back to the 156.21 when they went to our "lovely" 911 system. And of course the 156.21 was a channel I used to be able to pick up in the past but the 151.115 I can't get.
