HB State Beach Park Rangers

Hello all! I was curious if anyone in Orange County regularly monitors the CA State Park Rangers at Huntington State Beach. If so, is there regular activity and on what frequencies/channels? How is the coverage throughout OC on the 800 conventional system? I'm aware the CCCS is encrypted on all LE talkgroups, so I'm hoping the Rangers can be an alternative for LE monitoring in/around Huntington Beach.

I monitor them when I'm down in the beach area. The traffic is mainly related to the beach or the stretch of PCH adjacent to it. On a busy weekend you'll hear everything from DUI stops to fights, weapons calls and a lot of lost kids and medical aids, in addition to water rescues.

When I go RVing at Bolsa State Beach, I monitor the state Police all the time, like Mikek states, on low traffic Beach days, expect low monitoring traffic levels, Huntington Beach / Bolsa Chica. share the same channel
