HDSDR on windows xp

Hello,

I have a problem with running HDSDR programm on Windows XP.
After installing RTL-SDR.com device diver on XP, opened HDSDR and selected SDR-devices as shown in picture then started listenning.
But there is no signal from device at all.

What did I do wrong? any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think on that post is about can't install HDSDR on Windows XP.
But my problem is can't receive signal from HDSDR. (after installation)

Good news..
Now I found the problem.
It is because of USB extension cable!
Have to connect RTL-SDR device directly to comp. USB port otherwise HDSDR won't see this device.
