I accessed my v-scan folder for my area and as i read the radio is supposed to grow well it grew is hits a birdie frequency I think at 45.000Mhz then when I attempt to lock it out or hit scan I get this message

Heap error 22541 225B

What does that exactly mean? Class anyone?

Usually the heap error message means you have an "unassigned object" in the program.
This means something , a talkgroup, a frequency, something - hasn't been assigned to a scanlist.

A heap error is usually caused when a talkgroup object was not assigned to a trunked system. It has nothing to do with objects being assigned to a scanlist or not.

OK. You're probably right. I haven't seen a heap error in a very long time.

I bet the Search function on the forum would provide a lot more info. "heap" is a pretty unique pattern.

Thanks guys I reset my scanner for some reason maybe I over programmed it? Reason I'm saying this because 1 I don't know S...hardly about this new one and for a minute there after I unleased my V-scanner preprogrammed data, no matter what key or softkey I hit manual,prog,func...I got that error code,so sadly to say I dumped the menory and it works perfectly again with about 6 frequencies in it.
