Hearing music through scanner

Take it easy on me please I’m new to this, but anytime I have my stereo on mainly my Subwoofer I hear music through different frequencies any help would be much a DD u u

Which scanner? Are they wired speaker or wireless speakers? If wireless, what type of wireless does it use? Is the scanner sitting on top of a speaker?

What type of scanner and your scanner is putting out music or you music speakers are putting out scanner frequencies

I have a uniden bearcat bc355n and the speaker wires are running on the bottom through the dash there actually RCA cables to and from the amp it’s mainly when I’m listening to Xm radio

If Close Call is on, a strong FM broadcast radio station will stop your scanning and you will monitor the radio station only.

Totally a guess on my part, but the Subwoofer may have a class D amplifier and those spray some harmonic energy.

XM Radio factory built into your vehicle radio? Or is it an XM add on radio that has a built in FM modulator?

Sorry I’ve gotten terribly busy it’s a aftermarket xm a Sony Mex-5300bt! After doing some messing around I think I finally figured it out I use a magnet mount for my scanner when I swap out and use my friends fender mount it works awesome! So with that said just curious what everyone else uses for a antenna? Also does. Digital scanners use the same antenna as the one I have

Antennae don't discriminate between analog vs digital but rather by the band(s) they are tuned to
