Police will be on a number of eastern district channels for the big country concert.

Fire EMS as usual on interop channels... Easy to find.

Fair and security on UHF radios rented from an out of state vendor. Random business channels, a few low power repeaters.

Definitely plenty of things to listen to....

The big concert tomorrow will be interesting..

Last I knew it was FL/GA Line playing sunday
NJ/MD Line?

It's all the same - Southern Twang Music...

But yes, FGL is on Sunday at 3:30 - and will overwhelm the region.....
There are alot of plans and back up plans in place, but it's a Sunday, on a nice weekend - for a $13.00 Show, with a lot of pick-up-trks, etc etc etc..

Happy Listening all day.....

Now that it's over...

STOCS 1 V.U.8 Primary Fire/EMS
STOCS 2 U Secondary Incident
STOCS 3 U Staging and Commercial AMB

CSP 42 & 43 for Grounds and Traffic Control

8Tac91D for COML and COMT coordination

Fair Group had 4 repeaters on site and 6 simplex channels
Police Explorers had their UHF Channel
Carnival Group had their UHF Channels
Stage Crew had their Radios...
Ham Radio had a repeater

There was a lot of last minute planning - and a few minor changes had to be made
State of CT MCV3 provided secondary comms and techs, and utilized the video equipment to monitor the crowd
Region 4 C&C Trailer acted as the Unified Command Post - and even had CSP w/ a CAD system up and running.
"Fair Comm" provided the day-to-day comms and was represented by local hams and CERT members...

Wow... So they did use the STOCS/8TAC channels. Pretty cool.

Did they just leave their usual frequencies and temporarily migrate to STOCS for Fire/EMS? Or STOCS was fair-only incidents and the traditional frequencies were out-of-fair incidents.

Kmac, please reference the Danbury PD/database change thread and submit a link and a through essay describing these frequencies, especially if you plan to submit them to the database...
