Help deciding which scanner

My current (and second) Uniden BC92XLT has broken on me. I am in the market for a new scanner. I am an amateur listener from Bay City and was just going to spring for the RS Pro-164. Although after some research I have found that Saginaw is currently switching over to digital and word is Bay City may be changing also.

I also travel to Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor and Detroit frequently. What scanner would best suit me? I am assuming a digital? This is probably a stupid question but digital scanners will also cover analog correct? So I can still observe Bay City?

Is there anyone currently looking to sell a digital handheld?

Radioshack PRO-106 is best for casual scanning, IMO. I own one and it fits my needs perfect. Or the base version of the 106.

Yea, id say go with the Pro-106 or equivalent, (Base or the GRE version). It gets pretty much everything youll need and i really like it, very user friendly.
