Hello,

I am in need of someone helping me set up my SDS200 to stream private audio back to me.

I have the SDS200 scanner, Proscan software and internet.

I need some one to TEAMVIEWER into my computer and set this up.

I need someone to help me set this up quickly as I am leaving soon from the area and need to get this stream established.

I will pay you for your time....PayPAL

If you can't find anyone, it may be faster here.
Are you attempting to setup the Web Server?
Where in the process are you at?

It is easy. Don't think it's not. It takes a minute or two.
Hardest part I think may be the Router Port Forwarding setup.

I don’t understand what I need ? Do I need a web hosting like Go Daddy? When you go over IP and plug LAN cat5 in do you also need a USB from scanner to computer?

What do you set the drop down menu to ? Primary capture device ?

When I read it there are so many settings that I don’t know which ones to select ?

No web hosting is needed as ProScan Web Server is a web host.

If using an Ethernet cable then no USB is needed.
What do you set the drop down menu to ? Primary capture device ?
URL (if using the LAN connection) or Primary capture device (if using a audio cable connected to a sound card)

There are two parts
Part 1 - Getting ProScan to communicate with the scanner
Sense you have a SDS200, you can use the Ethernet cable for data(display) and audio.
or the regular way using an audio cable and data cable (USB cable). Scanner has to be in Serial Port mode.

Part 2 - Using the Web Server feature and a Web Browser on the remote side to access the Web Server.

If this is not a long term feed set up a zello feed for your self.
I have 5 feeds on broadcastify and 1 private feed for my self on zello for a medical helo channel.

it Will be long term, I am in Florida and want to hear Minnesota ARMER over the internet. I have a house in Florida and Minnesota.

What’s Zello ?

I leave back to Florida Monday and need to get this stream up and running before I head back.

I can’t get the scanner display to show up on the computer. When I select URL what is the www. I put in ?

Is there an easier way to stream the audio then pro scan ?

First you want to go into the scanner menu Settings -> LAN Settings ->Set IP Assignment -> Auto then backout and go into Show IPs
Note the IP assignment. Use that IP address in ProScan.

ProScan streaming is about the easiest it gets. Most of what you are dealing with now has nothing to do with streaming but setting up the scanner communications.

On setting up the streaming, It's as easy as clicking the Web Server Start button then going into the Router and setting up the Port Forwarding so the server can be seen from the outside.

I have AT&T for my internet, not quite sure how to port forward and which ports to open up

Thanks

Router Port Forwarding needs this info:
1. TCP only
2. Port # of the server
3. IP address (or name) of the computer running the server

If more then one server running such as RSOIP and Web Server then you will make a separate entry in the Port Forwarding for each server.

On how to setup the Router Port Forwarding, I would Google search "Port Forwarding [make & model of router]"

I could guide you through the process either here or via email.
I'm not sure where you are at in the process.

Advise if you are on step 1 or 2.

Very very basic steps are:
1. Setting up ProScan to communicate with the scanner (data & audio)
2. Stream the data & audio through the internet or local network

And its still not working...I hired a guy from RR to help me and it's still not up.
I would demand your money back. Anyone should only charge if they get it working.

This is not an easy thing to do!
It will become easy once you learn how. If you want a virtual display and remote control then ProScan is the easiest solution since it's an all-in-one package. All other solutions requires two separate software packages.

Email me and I will guide you through the process. No charge.
