Hello, I am new to the forum and completely new to radios and trunking. I purchased a Uniden BCD996P2 to do some independent journalism and to no surprise, programming is a nightmare. I tried using freescan to program the settings straight from RR, but copy and paste is about as far as my knowledge takes me. I also had it professionally programmed; but it still doesn't work properly in Sarasota, which I need. At this point, I've given up trying to set it up myself. If someone here wants to set it up, I can get you paid (within reason) or if someone wants to set up a private feed with the Sarasota channels I need, I could PayPal you every month or something. Also not really sure if this is the appropriate place to ask for this type of help so go easy on me!
