Posting this here because it was suggested in another forum... Copying and pasting my original post.
"Soo.. no idea what I'm doing with this thing.
My girlfriend's grandfather just bought a (Grecom, I think) PSR-600 Digital Trunking Scanner. I have no idea how to work it, the manual is a little convoluted for me - but he expects me to know how to program it as he wants.
I've looked at the Wiki and FAQ and stuff - but in all honesty I just have no idea where to start.
Can anyone help out?
He wants to listen to Aircraft(Control Tower, Plane-to-Plane, etc) and the Police bands(I believe city and state police)
