another one of my weekend finds is a "TS-13-E Military Radio Handset"......

the one i have has a y junction at the end of the cable and has 2 plugs, one standard type headphone jack with pl-55 printed on it and that works as well as the speaker in the hand set...
ill be testing the microphone (plug is printed with PL-68) with wire leads off an old phone after i type this up as it has a different smaller plug that i cant connect it with using varied plug adapters or even holding it in a female plug and listing for noise......

(its a Sunday morning playing with new Toys/Box-O-Stuf day)

MY QUESTION IS .......the only one ive seen is in the ebay add but it has a socket attachment where as mine is a 2 plug type..... the eBay add said that socket handset is for the BC-222 and im wondering what radio this hand set went to... Field? Mobile? Marine?

I got to the estate sale late so all but 2 radios were gone... 2 old man-pack sets and i didnt note the #s on them now that i think about it... wish i did...(both had missing parts and high prices for my empty pockets...lol) and an old "Sky Buddy" Short Wave (should have bought it) so i don't know if the person that grabbed the radio just didn't see the handset, or if the former owner (RIP, former ham) just had a collection of hand sets along with the headphones i saw...."wish i could have grabbed more stuff"

this all if found on this set and id love to know what radio my handset goes with and how much something like that is worth compared to the one in this add...

Standard military and aviation microphone and headphone plugs - sockets should be available from Mouser.
