Hello everyone,
I am new to this board and pretty new to sophisticated radio use. I have a few questions and hope folks can point me in the right direction.
My main question is about the HIROSE connection used with SABER 1,2,3 radios & Push-to-Talk (PTT) cables.
Does anyone know where I can find hirose plugs fittings to create cables?
Or schematics on what the wiring of these cables needs to be? If there is a more proper name for the "hirose" adapter, please let me know.
I would be willing to pay for a professional to make cables for me if you know of a good wiring shop, et all...
I own a Peltor comtac II headset and a PTT cable made for a different radio & am trying to change the plug... or create a middle cable which will adapt to the Motorola.
I would also like to buy 1-4 Motorola Saber IIs or IIIs, UHF & securenet. If anyone is selling these radios that work, lemme know
-Only astro & system radios if I can get the software as well, it's different than a normal saber, yes? Thanks!
Again I am a beginner, so go easy. (grin!)
Thanks a ton for any advise...
In South Carolina,
~Robin
