Ok this is what I have:
1 Motorola GR1225 UHF base/repeater station
1 Cresend 100 watt UHF PA deck
1 Zetron ZR310 Shared repeater unit
1 set of zr310 to gr1225 15 pin cables
Official 1225 RSS, RS232 Motorola RIB and a old pentium D class PC.
I have a commercial community repeater license but the repeater is currently operating as-is without the Zetron CR controller installed (one customer but more are to be added very soon so time is of the essence here)
What I need is a STEP BY STEP procedure on how to set the repeater and the Zetron up and program it. I have read and downloaded the info on the GR300 system (how to connect and program, etc.) and I can only assume that it is the same procedure but I need someone to confirm this for me please, Do I just connect the controller and program the controller via the 1225 RSS, or is there some special procedure?
I want to be absolutely sure before I goto the tower site and start plugging things in and reprogramming radios.
Any help would be greatly appriciated
