Let me preface this by saying im new to scanning. I purchased a GRE PSR-300 before downloading freq's to the unit i deleted the first 2 banks. After that i uploaded the city's and departments I was interested in and the scanning works great. Well except on small issue and that is sometimes it goes from a fast scan mode to a really slow one after having the scanner off. Ok as for the big problem since deleting the first 2 banks i cannot get the scanner to go into search mode. Does anyone have any ideas or know how to remedy the problem? Thanks any and all that respond i appreciate you taking the time.

im no expert at programming the GRE scanners but I think you need to add a "WILDCARD" to the group.
I think its done by inputting a ** or something similar as a group.
